New School Project Management | Desert Sunrise High School

FMG proudly managed the design and construction of Desert Sunrise High School, delivering a state-of-the-art facility designed to meet the district’s growing needs. Spanning from June 2021 to July 2023, the $41+ million project was funded by the Arizona New School Grant along with additional supplemental district funding and Adjacent Ways funding. The project required meticulous planning, coordination, and execution to ensure success.

Our services included project planning, assistance with land acquisition, project budgeting and overall budget management, procurement assistance, schedule management, and field observation. FMG also oversaw FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) management, project closeout documentation, and provided regular updates through Monthly Governing Board Reports and weekly project meetings. Despite the unprecedented challenges of the global pandemic, which required fully virtual management during the project’s early stages, FMG successfully maintained progress and ensured everything stayed on track.

The project was completed on schedule and within budget, delivering a modern, functional, and inspiring learning environment for students.
